Project Description

The NACRA 570 Sport is possibly the quickest skeg hulled cat on the water. With the jib footed low on the bowsprit to keep the power low down and minimise heeling, this is a blisteringly quick catamaran that will excel at club racing

With twin trapezes this is a fast, nimble cat that will put a smile on everyone’s face as they fly across  the water. The high hull volume forward of the crossbeams mean that the 570 Sport can be driven hard with less risk of pitch poling, while the simple layout of the control lines ensures minimal fuss while tacking and gybing in a race. The Cunningham downhaul, mainsheet traveller and blocks can all ensure optimal sail shape at different points of sail and getting every ounce of speed potential on the race course. The 21 square metre spinnaker gives a real kick downwind, helping you leave the fleet behind as you take off down the course!

Being skeg hulled, this can be sailed in shallower waters, while the NACRA kick-up rudders make for easy beaching. Her sail area means that three adults can sail on a cruise without losing much of the excitement this full blooded racing machine can give.
