In December in the seaside resort of Mussanah Oman, the world’s best young sailors joined together in no less than 11 classes at the Youth Sailing World Championships.
A total of 433 sailors from 56 nations were present and it was no doubt the NACRA 15 class that was really hotting things up with some extremely close racing throughout the event! Our very own Jasmine Williams and Alfie Cogger were representing GBR at the event and despite only having sailed together for a very short period of time, came a credible 10th overall.
After an intense and amazing week, the medals were as follows:
Gold: Thomas Proust and Eloïse Clabon (FRA)
Silver: Kay Brunsvold and Cooper Delbridge (USA)
Bronze: Axel Grandjean and Noémie Fehlmann (SUI)
